EVR - 4º Escola de Verão de Refrigeração Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos - USP

Novas tecnologias da área de refrigeração, aquecimento, ventilação e condicionamento de ar serão os principais temas da 4º Escola de Verão de Refrigeração, a ser realizada de 20a 23 de fevereiro de 2017, no Auditório Jorge Caron, Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos, Universidade de São Paulo, São Carlos, SP
A Escola é destinada a alunos de graduação, pós-graduação, pesquisadores, professores e profissionais da indústria atuando em refrigeração, ventilação, condicionamento de ar e aquecimento. Ela tem como objetivo ser um fórum de aprendizado, divulgação e discussão sobre novas tecnologias na área.
Na edição de 2017 a Escola terá como tema principal Refrigerantes Naturais e Alternativos e soluções para redução da Carga de Refrigerante. Sua programação envolverá minicursos no período da manhã e palestras e mesas redondas durante as tardes, cujos temas são distribuídos ao longo dos dias do evento de maneira temática: Condicionamento de Ar, Refrigeração Industrial, Refrigeração Comercial e Refrigeração Doméstica. Os minicursos e Palestras serão proferidos por especialistas da Academia e da Indústria.

Just to remind you the Conference will be held in Albufeira - Algarve, at the Grande Real Santa Eulália Resort & Hotel Spa. Dates: 18-21 April 2017 (the week after Easter) and the Members of the Organizing Committee are Prof. Viktor Scherer (Ruhr-Universität Bochum - Germany), Prof. Neil Fricker (University of South Wales - United Kingdom) and myself.

ICSI 2017 - 2nd International Conference on Structural Integrity

On behalf of the European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS) Portuguese National Committee we have the pleasure to extend a warm welcome to everyone planning to attend the 2nd International Conference on Structural Integrity (ICSI2017). The second ICSI conference will take place on the beautiful Madeira Island, Portugal on 4 – 7 September 2017.

ICSI focuses on all aspects and scales of structural integrity thematic. This ranges from basics to future trends, with special emphasis on multi-scale and multi-physics approaches, and applications to new materials and challenging environments. The conference proceedings will be published with open-access by Elsevier’s Procedia Structural Integrity before the event starts, and also a set of selected papers will be published in one of Elsevier top journals, International Journal of Fatigue.

In 2017 ICSI is honoured to host The Second Multi-Lateral Workshop on Fracture and Structural Integrity related Issues , currently organized jointly by Portuguese, Spanish and Italian groups on fracture. This is an important event on the domain of fracture and structural integrity that started out two years ago in Catania under the auspices of these three groups of southern Europe. The workshop is meant to increase the level of cooperation amongst the groups themselves, and the prominence of the research work on fracture and structural integrity related issues done in this part of Europe.

The conference will be a forum for discussion of current trends of research in structural integrity, in aeronautics and space, but also in other sectors of engineering where structural integrity is a key concern.

MuSMe 2017- 6th International Symposium on Multibody Systems and Mechatronics 
October 24-28, 2017 – Florianópolis – Brazil

The aim of the Symposium is to bring together researchers from the broad ranges of disciplines referring to Multibody Systems and Mechatronics, in an intimate, collegial and stimulating environment. MuSMe 2017 Symposium is one of the activities of the FeIbIM Commission for Mechatronics and IFToMM Technical Committees for Multibody Dynamics, and Robotics and Mechatronics.
The Symposium will be held at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Florianópolis Santa Catarina, Brazil.

COBEM 2017 -24th ABCM International Congress of Mechanical Engineering

COBEM is the ABCM International Congress f Mechanical Engineering. COBEM takes place every two years in a Brazilian city. The 24th version of the Congress will be held in Curitiba, at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR). After more than two decades, COBEM will take place inside a university campus. COBEM is a comprehensive event, which gathers students, engineers and scientists of many different fields that contribute of the advances in mechanical engineering and related fields. People from around world are welcome to participate in the 24th edition of the congress, to discuss important issues such as sustainability, new manufacturing approaches, thermal and fluid sciences, numerical modeling among others important subjects.

ICONNE 2017 - 6th International Conference on Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos, Control and Applications

The ABCM Committee of Non-linear and Chaotic Phenomena is pleased to announce the organization of 6th International Conference on Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos, Control and Applications (ICONNE 2017) in parallel with 24th ABCM International Congress of Mechanical Engineering - COBEM 2017, that will be held in Curitiba - PR, Brazil, during 3-8 December, 2017.

This conference is a forum to communicate and share new ideas, methodologies, results and current challenges in the area of nonlinear dynamics and chaotic systems. Contributions are solicited in all aspects of nonlinear dynamics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: 
·  nonlinear periodic systems

·  nonlinear energy transfer and localization phenomena
·  non-smooth effects

De 01/02/2017 a 24/02/2017  encontram-se abertas as inscrições para o processo de seleção de bolsistas de pós-doutorado PNPD para preenchimento de 01 (uma) vaga, para atuar no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Mecânica da EESC-USP, pelo período de 02 (dois) anos, com início em abril de 2017 e possibilidade de renovação por outros 12 meses conforme estabelecido no regulamento para seleção de candidatos e manutenção de bolsistas PNPD – CCP/PPGEM elaborado segundo a Portaria CAPES 086/2013.
