Novas tecnologias da área de refrigeração, aquecimento, ventilação e condicionamento de ar serão os principais temas da 4º Escola de Verão de Refrigeração, a ser realizada de 20a 23 de fevereiro de 2017, no Auditório Jorge Caron, Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos, Universidade de São Paulo, São Carlos, SP
A Escola é destinada a alunos de graduação, pós-graduação, pesquisadores, professores e profissionais da indústria atuando em refrigeração, ventilação, condicionamento de ar e aquecimento. Ela tem como objetivo ser um fórum de aprendizado, divulgação e discussão sobre novas tecnologias na área.
Na edição de 2017 a Escola terá como tema principal Refrigerantes Naturais e Alternativos e soluções para redução da Carga de Refrigerante. Sua programação envolverá minicursos no período da manhã e palestras e mesas redondas durante as tardes, cujos temas são distribuídos ao longo dos dias do evento de maneira temática: Condicionamento de Ar, Refrigeração Industrial, Refrigeração Comercial e Refrigeração Doméstica. Os minicursos e Palestras serão proferidos por especialistas da Academia e da Indústria.

ExHFT9 - 9th World Conference on Experimental Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics
12-16 June 2017 - Iguazu Falls, Brazil

The World Conferences on Experimental Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics have been taking place since 1988. Following successful conferences in Dubrovnik (1988, 1991), Honolulu (1993), Brussels (1997), Thessaloniki (2001), Matsushima (2005), Krakow (2009) and Lisbon (2013), the Ninth World Conference on Experimental Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics (ExHFT-9) will be held in Iguazu Falls (Foz do Iguaçu), Brazil, from 11 to 15 June, 2017. This will be the first ExHFT Conference in the southern hemisphere.
ExHFT-9 is being organized under the auspices of the Assembly of World Conferences on Experimental Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics. The goal of this conference is to provide a forum for the exposure and exchange of ideas, bringing together experimental researchers from industry and academia engaged in the areas of thermal and fluid science and engineering.
Papers on all aspects of these research areas, from fundamental and applied to novel experimental techniques and innovative applications are welcome

Call for Abstracts has been announced for the upcoming ASME 2017 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences (IDETC) and Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE) take place during August 6-9, 2017 in Cleveland, Ohio. We would like to draw your attention to the Symposium on "NONLINEAR SYSTEMS AND PHENOMENA (VIB/ MSNDC 10-6)" as a part of the 29TH CONFERENCE ON MECHANICAL VIBRATION AND NOISE (VIB) and invite you to participate and present there your current work. We kindly ask you to submit your abstract and paper via the conference site (https://www.asme.org/events/IDETCCIE). Please create an account and follow the instructions on the web site. Welcome – First Announcement
As the Organizers of the International Conference of Engineering Vibration, ICoEV 2017, we would like to extend our warm welcome and invitation to participate in this event. The conference will be organized by the Institute of Information and Communication Technology and by the Institute of Mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and will held between 4 and 7 September 2017 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The conference venue will be Hilton Hotel, www.sofia.hilton.com,  conveniently located within a walking distance to a range of hotels and the city centre.
The topics of the conference include Structural Dynamics ,  Wave Propagation, Fluid-Structure Interactions ,  Dynamics of Rotating Systems,  Structural Health Monitoring ,  Vibration Control and Isolation, Experimental Techniques, Energy harvesting and other vibration themes. In addition, we will have a dozen of mini symposia focused on the specific problems in engineering vibration.
We will be delighted to receive your contribution to the conference. We plan a harmonious mixture of plenary, keynote, contributed and poster presentations. Selected papers will be invited to special issues of top peer review journals, which will be published after the conference.

ICBCHT10 - 10th International Conference on Boiling & Condensation Heat Transfer

The 10th International Conference on Boiling and Condensation Heat Transfer (ICBCHT10) will be held from 12th - 15th March, 2018 in Nagasaki, Japan. This conference is the latest in a series that has been held in Santa Barbara, Banff, Irsee, Alyeska, Jamaica, Spoleto, Florianopolis, Lausanne, and Boulder. The focus will be to provide researchers the opportunity to present and discuss novel work, while also identifying future needs in this critical area of research at international level. Papers related to boiling, condensation, heat transfer enhancement, physical and numerical modeling, as well as experimental techniques will be discussed.
