INFORMATIVO ABCM Nº 07/09 – Special Issue of Mathematical Problems in Engineering
Models, methods and applications of dynamics and control in Engineering Sciences: State of the art and directions for further research (This special issue it is tax free publication)
Since the current literature on dynamics and control is scattered over a range of Journals, Books, Chapters of books and a large number of conference proceedings, which are often difficult to obtain, the goal of this special issue of MPE is to present papers, containing complete reviews on dynamics models, available in the current literature, classifythem, and discuss their applications and limitations. In this special issue, the authors could recommend appropriatemodels and control criteria, for various applications on Engineering and Sciences and suggest directions for further works. It is also open to on critical review, open problems and future developments. Discussions on MEMS and NEMS are also encouraged.
We are limited to articles written in English or those which a translation already exists. The scope of the paper may be organized as follows. Authors should follow the Mathematical Problems in engineering manuscript format described at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/.
Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/ according to the following timetable:
Manuscript Due | August 1, 2009

about MPE
Mathematical Problems in Engineering publishes results of rigorous engineering research carried out using mathematical tools. Contributions containing formulations or results related to applications are also encouraged. The primary aim of Mathematical Problems in Engineering is rapid publication and dissemination of important mathematical work which has relevance to engineering. All areas of engineering are within the scope of the journal. In particular, aerospace engineering, bioengineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and manufacturing systems, and mechanical engineering are of interest. Mathematical work of interest includes, but is not limited to, ordinary and partial differential equations, stochastic processes, calculus of variations, and nonlinear analysis.
The most recent Impact Factor for Mathematical Problems in Engineering is 0.376 according to 2007 Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Scientific (ISI) in 2008.
