ICIPE 2024 - Comunicado Importante!
Dear Colleague:
We have just been made aware of the following fraudulent website:
https://waset.org/inverse-problems-in-engineering-conference-in-april-2024-in-rome
that announces “ICIPE 2024: 18. International Conference on Inverse Problems in Engineering April 04-05, 2024 in Rome, Italy”. This is a case of plagiarism, where the persons responsible for this website (who claims to be a scientific academy trusted for open science) have dishonestly copied without any permission the title of the traditional and prestigious INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INVERSE PROBLEMS IN ENGINEERING: THEORY AND PRACTICE, with acronym ICIPE.
The true 11th International Conference on Inverse Problems in Engineering: Theory and Practice (ICIPE-2024) belongs to a successful series of conferences started in 1993 and held on a three-year cycle. This conference evolved from the inverse problems seminars organized by the late Prof. James V. Beck at Michigan State University. Prof. Beck is worldwide recognized as one of the pioneers on inverse problems. The true ICIPE-2024 Conference will be held next year under the auspices of ABCM – Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering (https://abcm.org.br/). ABCM is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 that promotes different activities concerning education, research and development of mechanical sciences and engineering.
The true 11th International Conference on Inverse Problems in Engineering: Theory and Practice (ICIPE-2024) will be held in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during June 23-28, 2024. The only website truly related to the ICIPE-2024 Conference is: https://icipe2024.org/.

Inter-Noise 2024 - CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The French Acoustical Society (SFA) on behalf of International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE) is delighted to announce that the call for abstracts for the 53rd International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering (Inter-Noise 2024) is open.
You can now submit your abstracts via the official website.
· We look forward to receiving your contribution by February 9, 2024.
· Abstract notification acceptance is scheduled for March 1, 2024.
· Registrations will be open from December 1, 2023, up to April 12, 2024, for authors.
Inter-Noise 2024 will be a good opportunity to share experience and gain valuable exposure within the global community in noise control engineering.
The conference program will be structured to maximize scientific discussions, including parallel technical sessions and keynotes focused on the core topics of Inter-Noise and on the theme of the congress: from Jules Verne’s world to multi-disciplinary approaches in acoustics & noise control engineering.
Poster sessions will also be proposed with dedicated flash presentations.
The industrial exhibition will be organized at the heart of the congress venue, and technical workshops will also be proposed.
