The rapid development of renewable energy technologies have presented operators with new challenges to maintain the reliability and integrity of their structures and equipment. This is particularly problematic in remote locations due to the often extreme loads and volatile environmental conditions. Structural Integrity 2019 will discuss the new opportunities, as well as the challenges and uncertainties, of applying structural health and condition monitoring, robotics, additive manufacturing and big data to improve the safety and structural integrity of offshore assets.
The conference brings together a mix of international academics and industry professionals to share successes and examples of best practice which address the current and emerging issues facing the sector.
The organisers are encouraging interested parties to submit abstracts for consideration to integrity@asranet.co.uk
Non-presenting participants are also welcome. Group discounts may be discussed for larger groups of attendees with shared affiliation.

Encontra-se em aberto o edital para a contratação de professor em regime de Dedicação Exclusiva para a área de Fenômenos de Transporte, vinculado ao curso de Engenharia Biomédica na Universidade Federal do ABC.

Apesar de se tratar de um curso de graduação em Engenharia Biomédica, o edital cobre o conteúdo básico das disciplinas de Termodinâmica, Mecânica dos Fluidos e Transferência de Calor. Procura-se alguém com sólidos conhecimentos nestas três disciplinas e que deseja aplicá-lo (ou já tenha aplicado) na área de sistemas biológicos.
