It is our great pleasure to invite you and your associates to join the 15th International Conference on VIBRATION ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY OF MACHINERY (VETOMAC XV), to be held from 10 to 15 November, 2019 in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

The VETOMAC Conference has an over 14-year-long history. The latest edition, DSTA 2018, hosted almost 300 participants representing various countries.

By attending the conference, you will not only have an opportunity to exchange experience with other people interested in the topic of dynamical systems and control, but also your paper (after a peer review process) will be published either in Springer-IFTOMM book series: Vibration Engineering and Technology of Machinery and VETOMAC Proceedings. Also, the selected, most prominent papers will be recommended for publication, in an extended form in a special issue of Journal of Vibration Engineering & Technologies, etc.

Programa de evento em Sobral e das comemorações do eclipse de 1919

A SBPC, o Governo do Ceará, a Prefeitura de Sobral e diversas outras entidades científicas e instituições estão organizando atividades em comemoração ao centenário do eclipse de Sobral neste mês de maio. Dentre elas estão:

 

1. Evento Internacional em Sobral de 28 a 30 de maio – Clique aqui para mais informações 
2. Exposição sobre o eclipse de 1919 dentro do Congresso Nacional (nos corredores maiores da Câmara Federal) entre os dias 14 de maio e 15 de junho;
3. Exposição itinerante sobre o eclipse a percorrer cidades do Ceará e do Brasil (a ser inaugurada no dia 29 em Sobral)
4. Documentário (a SBPC produziu um de 3 minutos e há outros sendo feitos por outros meios de comunicação)
5. Números especiais de várias revistas (RBEF, Ciência e Cultura, Revista Brasileira de Astronomia, Revista da Fapesp, JC, etc)
