Dear Colleagues:

This is to bring to your attention the announcements of the Fluid Mechanics and Rheology Symposium to be held at the COBEM 2009 in Gramado, RS, on November 15-20, 2009. Interested authors are invited to submit an abstract by March 20, 2009 (http://www.abcm.org.br/cobem2009).

Papers will be peer reviewed, and accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Fluids Engineering/ASME.
